MISSION
Exeter District Ambulance is dedicated to providing basic and advanced life support of the sick and injured in a professional and responsive manner, showing care and compassion for those served.
VALUES
The District operates in accordance with the following organizational values:
The Patient Comes First. The patient's safety, comfort, dignity and convenience come before all other considerations. The District seeks to understand and address the patient's physical, emotional and spiritual needs with empathy and compassion.
Relationships. District personnel treat others with courtesy and respect. The District develops and maintains mutually beneficial long-term relationshiops with clients, business partners, and community leaders.
Excellence. The District promotes a quality health care experience for our patients. District personnel participate in regular staff training to meet standards and better provide high quality service.
Fiscal Responsibility. The physical assets and financial resources of the District are held in trust for the sole benefit of the community. The Distict Manager is charged with managing the Distrcit budget in accordance with best practices as outlined in the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
Ethical Behavior. District Personnel seek to do the right thing with respect to every decision. Whether the issue relates to medical treatment, administrative or financial matters, interpersonal relations or regulatory compliance.
Community. The District has a vital role in the local community and seeks to understand and serve the needs of the community. As a health organization, the District particpates in promoting a healthy community.
